Location

mapThe Costa del Azahar or Orange Blossom Coast named after the dense citrus groves of the area is the undiscovered jewel of Spain's Mediterranean Coast, uncommercialised, warm, friendly, beautiful and tranquil. A green region of orange & almond groves with "orange & lemon trees everywhere", mountain villages and uncrowded resorts & miles & miles of safe sandy beaches surrounded by sweeping bays of mountains.

Unspoilt countryside, a 112 Km coastline with safe, sandy beaches, medieval castles, renaissance mansions and endless orange groves are why The Costa del Azahar is becoming more and more popular with visitors in search of traditional Spain.

Famous for its calm, crystal-clear and particularly safe sea, Costa del Azahar is also known for its rich history and extraordinarily beautiful towns like Gandia, which are still largely untouched by developers. For a livelier, more cosmopolitan environment, the best place to invest in property is Castellon de la Plana, the capital of the province and an important commercial and cultural town.

There are flights to Valencia airport but most people fly into Alicante Airport in the north where choice is greater.

The beaches along this coast are among the best in the country and the waters are clear and warm. The interior landscape is awesome and offers all manner of outdoor activities.
